SageSearch is a fast, multi-format content discovery tool. It helps researchers, translators, analysts, and support teams find exactly what they need across sprawling document collections, without bouncing between multiple applications.

Highlights

• Indexes plain text, Office documents, PDFs, spreadsheets, presentations, and bilingual SDLXLIFF/XLIFF/TMX/SDLTM segments.
• Smart Unicode search with exact-match, phrase, and case-sensitive options.
• Folder-aware tree that surfaces every hit, including individual translation file segments labeled with their segment numbers (sequential numbering for TMX files; translation unit IDs for SDLTM).
• Context menus that open files or reveal their containing folders in a single click.
• Inline preview pane with persistent highlighting, custom fonts, and styling that carries into HTML exports.
• Flexible exports to TXT, Markdown, and HTML for sharing or archival.

Project Goals

We designed SageSearch to feel like a native desktop tool: quick to configure, responsive when browsing folders, and adaptable to personal workflows. Exact-match mode, phrase support, case toggles, and persistent highlight settings keep power users in control without sacrificing simplicity.
